Farmers sitting on different boundaries of Delhi have warned against jamming the entire country on 6 February against the agriculture law of the Central Government. The police no longer want to repeat the mistake made during the tractor parade. Perhaps this is the reason why the Ghazipur border has been converted into a fort by the police.
The police has done everything possible to prevent the mob of farmers from moving forward. The space between the two concrete barriers on the highway has been fixed with cement. Not only this, besides barbed wire, iron nails have also been installed on the road so that if the farmers try to move ahead with the tractor, their tires get punctured.
You can guess the way the security has been tightened by the fact that the fencing has been done on the path of the forest of the road going down the highway. Police and RAF are camping on the way to the place of movement from Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad. Not only the flyover but also the road below has been completely blocked.
Police, media, emergency service related vehicles, no one is allowed to go on these routes. The barricading on the highway has been fixed with an iron angle so that the agitators cannot break it at any cost.
If you want to go from Delhi via National Highway 24 and Delhi Meerut Highway to Noida or Ghaziabad, then alternate route has to be used. Along with the increasing number of farmers in the movement, the promptness and guard of the police is also increasing.
At the same time, the joint Kisan Morcha met to decide the strategy ahead of the agitators. It was presided over by Shri Balbir Singh Rajewal.
The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) has decided that there will be no formal dialogue with the government until various forms of oppression against the farmers’ movement are immediately stopped by the police and administration.
The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) is against the action of police and security agencies such as road digging, barbed wire fencing, closing of internal small roads, stopping internet services.
The leaders of the Kisan Morcha said that it seems that the government is extremely afraid of the increasing strength of the protests going on in various states.
SKM strongly condemned the arrest and detention of several protesters at various police stations, confiscation of farmers’ vehicles and alleged that hundreds of people were missing since the Red Fort incident, which is a matter of concern.
